It was developed by Nikki McFarlane, who used to be active on the big doula yahoogroup. She's awesome. After so many years in the birth world (since 1989), and resisting certification since I began doula-ing full time (2002), I've decided to work with CBI because I think they have things to teach me.

Is CBI doing an Antepartum doula course? I couldn't find anything on the website. Is it going to be one of the Advanced trainings - there isn't a list of what they may be.

I don't know. I'm doing the combined doula/cbe course. They haven't been around for very many years, so may not offer the variety that others do. I don't really know of many antepartum doula courses (and I don't know any antepartum doulas, either. I don't think that's a specialty that's practiced much where I am, or at least not formally.)
