Well, my client (and doula sister) just called me and said she thinks she is in early labor and she warned me that the baby will arrive in a few days. Last time this went on for several days. I have to admit that I kind of hope she waits until Tuesday because I have nothing on my calendar to cancel :lol

If I do have to cancel my appointments though I have a prenatal tomorrow and a pregnancy massage for one of my doula clients on Monday so hopefully they will all understand. Unfortunately like a moron i waited until the last tb skin test clinic at work which is Monday so guess who will be with her client on Monday just so that I get into trouble for waiting until the last second (gosh, why was I so dumb???) Actually I planned on going last week and screwed up the times that the clinic was being held. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

:lol the baby is here. One hour and twenty minutes after I got there he arrived!!!! I am so excited and pumped and now I can't sleep. What a beautiful homebirth!!!!

I am sorry to hear you have one later and one due. That is very frustrating and frightening. I am sure I will be losing my mind in a few weeks when all three of my clients are due at the same time. One of the dads keeps telling me he knows his baby will be born on the 7th of July even though his wife isn't due until the 19th :lol Honestly I kind of think it would be neat and it would remove a little pressure if she did go early, but I know she will most likely be the one who goes late only because they would like their baby sooner.

:lol yes you do know whose birth it was and it was so beautiful, wonderful, and I feel so blessed to have been there with her and her family!!!! It is such an honor to be asked back a second time to share in another birth (hey, I just realized that she was my first repeat client - wooohoooo).

Just wait until you see him - he is so beautiful. She sent me pictures via email today and my kids just oohh'ed and ahhhh'ed over him :)
