Our PP trainer had this great spinning chart that showed how much money a couple could save just by breastfeeding, as in : BF for two months and you can buy a new TV. (I can't remember the exact examples!)

Does anyone know where to get such a product? Does anyone know of such a chart online that I can print off?

(I have a client requiring help convincing her husband that the benefits of nursing FAR outwreigh his obsessive desire to feed his child himself, so I'm assembling soem articles on the roles of fathers postpartum and benefits of bf'ing)

Sorry, I don't know where to get such a chart, but it does sound really neat! :thumbs My thought is that LLL might know, though. If they don't have one, then maybe they'll know someone who does. You could also email some of the breastfeeding site owners to ask them (ie. Kellymom, Dr Jack Newman, etc.). Check out the "Breastfeeding" category in the Alldoulas Resources (http://www.alldoulas.com/forums/local_links.php?) page for links. You may already know of these sites, but I thought I'd mention it *just in case* there's one that you haven't seen before. It's called the Cost Of Formula Wheel. Very cool tool for CDEs and prenatal discussions around the benefits of bf'ing. As my pp trainer said, "to ge the moms, you have to convince the dads" and dads like to think in concrete terms: breastfeed for a year and you can afford to go to disneyland!

My doula trainer had these cute dollar bills that I think had $3000 on it and instead of a Pres. had a nursing baby and she'd say 'I'd like to offer you $3000 (or whatever the amt was) to nurse your baby. It was funny (but true!)
