Hi everyone,
I thought I would post a site-wide announcement to update you on a few things, because most of my personal updating has been in our Pregnant Doulas forum, which is only accessible to AllDoulas Club members.
If you've sent me a PM or email directly in the last several weeks, you've probably noticed a delay in response or no response at all. From the end of April to the beginning of May I was on bedrest in the hospital, and then delivered my newest addition to our family on May 9th at 32 weeks. Since then it's been back and fourth to the hospital a few times a day to be with my new bundle. She's doing well and should be home in a couple more weeks. Until then, I urge you to contact a specific forum leader or another Administrator with your questions or needs. If it is something I need to handle, they have methods to alert me. Thank you so much for your patience.
In terms of AllDoulas.com, I had a schedule of special plans for us in May, our Doula month. Obviously things didn't turn out the way I had "planned", but I would still like to bring all of these things to you, so keep checking in as I'll have a new schedule set.
Lastly, we are about to undergo a huge upgrade, with a change to our logo and entire look and feel. This was not only to celebrate doula month and our dedicated members, but also being online for nearly 3 years now. :clappy There will be a lot of changes implemented to make our community a better place. So stay tuned! And here's a pic of my new bub.
