I'm wanting to do the VBAC and the Marketing certifications through OPS........ does anyone know how often they start up new classes online??? It just occurred to me that even after reading it all, I'm still not sure if it's self-paced or if it is structured/scheduled. HELP!

It is structured. There are assignments and due dates.

Right now Kathy is in the midst of some family issues. I will contact her today an find out what is happening with her courses and when folks should sign up. Please be patient... I'll be back with an answer soon. Hold tight.

Any news yet..I have 2 doulas who are waiting to hear from her.

I took some classes from her but wouldn't ever recommend her classes to anyone else. It seems that she always has family issues going on. She takes forever to respond to the class. She doesn't keep to the schedule, she takes forever to give you assignments and even longer to give a response back to you. Actually I signed up for several classes at once. One was scheduled to start like last January but didn't get started until at least March. She sent out 2 out of like 4 assignments and then nothing...still waiting on that class....well not really I long ago gave up on her for that.

I don't feel I learned much at all during any of the classes. The certificate is pretty poorly done and really holds no weight anywhere either in my experinece.

I would recommend asking around some more before sending in any money. I know all of this kind of sounds harsh but it is all very true. I know some have had good experiences with her and have gone on to be instructors, but it seems that they never hear back from her either.

It was great when she first started.
But now I am severly disappointed.

That is really a shame. I was really interested in a couple of courses. I have heard from another doula that it takes a long time to hear from her.
