So I was thinking of putting together a 'newsletter' or digest of sorts for my clients with links to websites, product info/reviews etc and articles of my own...still coming up with ideas. What do yo guys think about this? ANyone else do anything like it? Ideas? Suggestions? Topic ideas?

Ohh, i am so the writer! I did something like this, but it was an insert in my brochures. I wish I could attach it and send it to you, but I wrote it in a funky program that would not open on your end. Let me see if I could cut and paste it into a word document and send it to you so you could get ideas?

I did find one I did for my LLL group I could email you. I know I also have copies of my doula one printed out...I will keep looking.

I think it is great!!! I went to an aromatherapist once and she did something like this. She would send it to her clients every so many months and the nice thing is that it kept her in our minds then. Kind of like a reminder that she is still there while also offering information that was interesting.

Our veterinarian does this! He sends one out quarterly, except it's through physical mail. We love receiving it every three months. I like your on-line idea; it would definitely be more cost efficient than what our vet does.

our birth network (www.birthyear.net) uses constant contact and so far we are pleased with it. It stores all the e-mails, and if the mails or forwarded it adds the new ones to your subscriber list and keeps track of all of it, who opened it, who did not, who unsubbed, etc.

well thank you...but it is definitely not mine. I am the current president but the original founders of the organization and all the other members and board of directors are what makes the group so awesome. It's exciting to be part of. Lots of things are happening this year for us.

Well, some of you may remember that I was thinking about doing a newsletter for my clients. I did decide to do it, and it took me almost a week to finish, but I did it! I am also extremely excited because I contacted several companies asking if they would be interested in donating products for a 'product review section'. Several have replied and are sending me all kinds of stuff! I get to give it to my mamas, then they will write a review (or I will write it based on their experience) and I will post it in my newsletter. I have also emailed companies asking for logos/banners to add to my newsletter so that my clients can direct-access their websites. I have gotten such wonderful responses! I am so excited. Thank you so much for all your help and stacy and Kim, thanks especially for the info on constantcontact.com it has been wonderful!!!

:unsure I would be so shy to show my measly little newsletter in front of all you experts :happy but yea, anyone who wants to see it can just email me. I finished one already, but it's sort of a work in progress, my next one will have the product review etc. :) Thanks for all the support. I learn so much from you guys :)
