CAPPA prices w/ scholarship?

Has anyone been awarded a scholarship for birth doula training with CAPPA? Did I read correctly on the site that the scholarhip DOES NOT include the prices of the training videos and the books on the required reading list (which I'm not to concerned about the books - there's always the library )

I guess what I'm asking is this - for those of you who were awarded a scholarship - other the price of the membership, what did you BD training cost you?

Hmmm..My scholarship for the postpartum training through CAPPA DID include videos and all other materials, fees, etc. (but not reading books) so I am curious as to why it would be different with the birth training. Sorry I'm not of any help

I was awared a scholarship with CAPPA a few years ago for their CBE program. It came with the manuals and videos. I was having some issues at that point that I decided it wasn't the right time so I sent the program back. I regret it now because you can only be awarded a scholarship once. It is a great offer.

The scholarship is for the distance program, which includes the videos for the training. All you have to do is the required reading, which can be borrowed from the library.

Thank you I've been functioning on little/no sleep lately, so I guess I just overlooked it!

It's all good. Let me know when you send in your application for the scholarship and I'll put in a good word for you.
