Anyone in Gainesville, Fl?

Hi everyone! I am a doula working toward my DONA cert. in Gainesville, FL. I have attended births since 1999 with friends and family, but only recently decided to get certified. I am having trouble connecting with moms and other birth professionals looking to work with doulas in my area. Any ideas?

Hi.

My name is Michelle, living here in Gainesville and I am planning on becoming a postpartum doula, I have signed up to begin training with DONA in February. I would love to chat to see what your experiences are like here in G'town. I have been asking around (midwives, lactation consultants, fellow moms) to gauge their opinion on whether there is a market for postpartum doula's in this town, and I have only received positive feedback from them. But the reality may be different. I would love to get connected with a birth doula as yourself, perhaps we could set up some sort of referral system. I have some good ideas on marketing, but first I need to concentrate on my training.
