Need a little help here.

Hey all. I need some advice. I have a business fair coming up in November and I don't know what to put in the goodie bags I am handing out. This isn't a baby fair but a business fair. Last year dentists were passing out toothbrushes and churches were passing out pens etc. I want to make up bags just for pregnant moms and hand them out. But what should I put in them? I have some samples here of astroglide, breast pads, soy bars, and lots of pamplets about pregnancy stuff. Should I just put that kind of stuff in them? Do I just pass out brochures to the non=pregnant people? I was also thinking about having a drawing or something....like a basket full of baby stuff. I wish I would have casted my last pregnant belly to put on display and I could have raffled off a belly casting kit. Let me know your thoughts and ideas please! Thanks.

When in November is your business fair? Have you had it already?
I am going to a prenatal fair on Tuesday, I could get some ideas there and forward them to you. Otherwise a basket of goodies is nice for a draw but be upfront about asking for contact with a box to check off if they would like more information from you or don't mind a call or have someone interested in your services or wares.
The items you have for gift bags are good. Are the breast pads in individual wrappers? Pamphlets and info are good too. I don't think it should cost you too much to put out the bags though. People don't expect much and you don't want things just thrown out if they don't need them. Even keeping the breast pads for people you talk to and tell you they plan on nursing or are nursing would be an extra special gift that you could give them to make them feel special and not have it as something in all bags. Just a thought anyway.
Hope your fair works out. I'll be thinking of those things in the spring I am sure when we have our home and garden show in our town.
Liz

two prizes that I offered in a draw at my booth. One was a birthing ball and the other a gift voucher for my services with a box of essential mum could take into hospital. Tooth brush and paste, protein bars, skin spritzer which a British beauty firm (all natural) gave me samples for mums to be etc.
I got people to fill in a slip with name, contact details and EDD. Followed up on all the "leads" who didn't win a prize - by email. let me know how your show goes!
