Back from my baby show!
I went to a baby fair yesterday and I was completely blown away. I've been to shows before and came away saying, yeah what ever. I never really got any clients out of it and mostly just promoted doulas in general. Well! Last night was like, well, shooting fish in a barrel. This particular fair only has one representative per group so I was the only doula! 
And at one point I was talking to 4 couples at once. I barely had enough brochures. It was insane! One woman even rushed up and said, "I was going to call you, I saw your website today." "I said well, here I am! When are ya due!" 
They are having another fair in a couple of weeks closer to me and have asked me to come and I think I'm gonna do it! I have asked another doula though to come as well and split the cost because, honestly, I can't help all these women and it was really hard to talk to all of them.
Now I just hope I can get some come people booked!!!!

I would love to attend a baby fair, but they never have one within a four hour drive of me!
