Help!!!

Help!!!
I'm going to a baby show next week. This one is huge! I'm not even sure why I'm going, it is completely out of my league but I"m committed now.

My question is how many brochures/postcards do I bring. Things are so expensive.

This thing is over three days. 20,000 people expected. Obviously not all of them will be pregnant but I'm stumped at how many things I should bring?

Help???

Your post is 4 days old... has the show happened yet?

We did the Women's Lifestyle show which is the biggest one we've done, and I believe they had between 3,000-4,000 people over two days. Being the pessamist I am, I only printed about 50 brochures on the first day, which was of course when the most people came through. We ran out in just a couple hours. The next day I had 100 brochures and since it was slower, we only ended up giving out 50-60.

If 20,000 people are expected, I might have 2,500-5,000 printed up, and make sure you'd be able to use them at another event if you didn't give them all out. Let us know how it went.. I LOVE attending shows!!

Wow, I didn't see this when it was posted. Thats a lot of people!

What kind of paper do you usually use? I usually use glossy brochure paper, which is tres expensive. Maybe using just regular old paper would be cheaper? Colored perhaps? Does anyone think that would look unprofessional?

I agree with Tiffany, it's better to have enough and not run out! If you have any left over you can still use them for later.

I just used regular printer paper, but my brochures don't have any large blocks of color that may bleed through.

Unfortunately 2500 to 5000 brochures is way too expensive. The cost of this whole thing is astronomical. I"ve printed out about 500 brochures and about 300 post cards. My main plan is to hand them out and not necessarily to everyone. I hope to talk to the people first before they take my brochure and hopefully find them interested. I've also adjusted my usual brochure so there is not much white and can be easily transformed to black and white if my ink cartridge wears out. I'll take some pics and show you all how it looks.

Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to miss the first day of it because of my client who is being induced tonight because of highblood pressure. Grrrr!
Why can't my clients ever go over their due date?

K.
