Question If You Had an Unlimited Budget...

What would your dream doula booth look like at a baby fair or expo?

Wow, I can't believe that the women on alldoulas don't have an imagination today?? .
If money was no object for me....
I'd hire a LMT and give free 5 min. massages to all pregnant moms in attendance. Some relaxing music playing very quietly and a nice quiet area for the massage. Like a canopy with sheer curtains for a soft-whispy look.
I'd have a very nice goodie bag with samples for each mom; along with the usual stuff- teas, preggie pops, nursing pads, etc. some really nice gourmet candies, like a truffle or something sinfully delicious and some organic body lotion or belly lotion.
I'd also have a drawing for an electic high grade breast pump.

Why yes, actually I do have a "No" Budget. When I see something I'd like to buy and give away, I look at the price tag an then say "NO".
My budgets for babyfairs are generally pretty low to zippo. Since I don't see much business from them, I'm really just doing a public service, so I try to keep my out of pocket expense low. I would really like to have an unlimited budget someday. Guess I need to run for congress...

Hmmmm....profesionally made brochures

Great signage! Big, blown up photos mounted and on display on easels.

I've always wanted some of those fun giveaways--like my biz name on tubes of chapstick or something But it costs a ton.

Maybe hire a prenatal massage therapist to do free 10 minute massages for guests who stop by

A giveaway, with a nice prize (maybe a medela pump n style)

Large digital picture frame displaying a slide show of photographs from births

If I had an unlimited budget why would I be working at a doula expo?!

I'd be at the Taj Mahal, baby.
