Display Board Ideas

I am attending a Baby Fair in April and need ideas for a display board - the kind that kids use for science fairs. I don't want it to be full of words, and I want to make it interactive. I thought about having a lift the flap type thing - where there is a doula related question and they lift the flap and see if they are right. However, I can't think of anything fun/informational to ask... so much for my brilliant idea. LOL.

Any ideas from you ladies would be appreciated.

Good idea Lisa. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have to say!

I did easy to see/read points.

I'll be adding black and white images of laboring people rated G to give talking points. No more then 4-5 images though. keeping it simple and clean is attractive at a fair when everything else is overwelming (junk on tables, crowds, noise balloons etc) I try to keep mine peaceful, if that makes any sense.

maybe make it look like what you want people to think of when they think of what a doula is/does/offers? it's your unique style.

I am getting ready for an Expo next weekend. I'm doing the same type of display board. I'm going to give the definition of a doula, list some things a doula does and why they are beneficial. I will also be including some black and white photos.

I may be attending a health fair at our local library. Where do you ladies get your photos, esp. black and white ones? I am just getting ready to attend my 1st birth, so I don't have any photos yet. Thanks!

If you need photos, let me know...I have several that my parent's have given me permission to use as I see fit. You can take a look at my website www.medicinehatdoula.com in the baby photo section for an idea of what you'd like. I have a little bit of everything there and would be more than willing to share!
