Pics from our expo

So I finally have a few minutes to share more info about the Baby & Family Expo that I co-organize. I forgot my camera in the morning, and my DH forgot to bring it with him, so these are a friend's photos. Not the greatest shots, but I think they get the message across.

Here's a photo of our booth (two of my awesome partners, I was off running around somewhere doing expo things). This must have been near the end of the day because our fourth photo has fallen (another horizontal one under the mom and dad laying together), and they are all a little crooked. Lesson for next year, GROMMETS! The photos are actual 20x30" prints mounted on foam core, I had them printed by Adoramapix.com. We had a plate of cookies, and we were giving away a "Pampered Mama" basket that had a hand-dipped candle, 1-hr massage, pedicure, dark chocolate. Also had give-aways for everyone of a lavendar/soothing baby salve and a baby wash. Brochures for our doula services and my classes, and a magazine with the article I wrote about natural birth. We also had a little display area with a sign that said, "What does a doula bring to a birth?", and some of my tools out on the table. Babies R' Us is my organizing partner, they brought us the glider and the lamp that you see on our table. You can't see it here, but there's also a carpet down on the floor.

I like your booth Jessica. The large prints are very nice! It does look inviting w/the photos and chair there as well. Thanks for sharing!

Good job, Jessica!

I do a lot of conventions with my DH and I can't even tell you how important the rug is! You would think it's a little thing, but it helps your legs and feet because it cushions the cement floor and it makes the booth much more inviting. Way to go! The booth looks fabulous!
