Need creative ideas....

So, we are only about a month away from our second annual natural birth and baby expo.

Last year, to encourage attenees to visit every vendor, we created a sign off sheet, and gave each vendor a marker to initial the sheet, then at the end, the sheets were part of a drawing for a HUGE gift basket filled with baby gifts and lots of great free products and services.

Thing is, it was a big distraction to stop and sign, say, when you were discussing doulas services with a mom to be. You couldn't give her your full attention.

So this year, we want to have some sort of incentive to encourage visiting the vendors, but need new ideas.

Sowhat have you done/seen to encourage attendees to visit each booth, but won't take too much time, or interrupt a conversation with a potential client (outside of having someone else be at your booth with you)

TIA

It might be cutting it short for your expo but I thought I'd reply anyway. A couple years ago I was at our local Art Festival and a bunch of the local businesses held a drawing for a bicycle to encourage traffic. They had a sheet that listed all the participating businesses and a blank space next to it. Each store had a round softball size picture in their store and you had to write down what their picture was of in the blank space. So one store had a picture of a rooster and another a ice cream cone, etc. You then turned in your completed sheet in for the drawing.

It was a lot of fun to try and spot the picture and you didn't have to stop anyone.
