How do you find baby fairs?

How do you all find baby fairs to go to? Did you google them? Is there a listing somewhere online? I would love to find out when there are some in my area, but I have no clue where to even begin.

ETA: I just realized this would probably work better in the business running section.... sorry!

Think like a pregnant woman and go there.

Baby fairs usually post advertisements in places pregnant women go. Or in magazines or newspapers, information books, etc. that pregnant women will read.

Take a look in OB or midwifery offices, what about the waiting room in L&D in your hospital (also if the postpartum floor/unit has a bulletin board). Ultrasound clinics might have them posted there.. grocery stores or anywhere that has a community events board.

We have a Parent Guide and a bunch of local neighborhood newsletters or papers.. sometimes they have advertisements in there. Oh and maternity stores, or baby furniture/clothing stores will sometimes have flyers for events there.

What Tif said is right on. We have a local freebie parents magazine that posts a lot of stuff. We also go online and look in the newspaper. the pagan ones I've found out about through our local pagan community. Probably didn't help you much, but hey, I tried!

Just agreeing with the others. I also look at my local hospital websites.

Yeah, hospitals around here have them a couple times a year. Babies R Us has them all the time, too. Sometimes they are run by a private company and I hear about them on the radio and in the freebie womens/family magazines around town. Also, the library might be a good place to look. Here there are bulliten boards and tables where groups can put out brochures/flyers and stuff and I hear about things sometimes that way, too. Good luck!
