Free breastfeeding guides!

Hey! I just got an e-mail from motherwear. They have these great BF guides for professionals. You can either download and print your own OR if you click on 'support for professionals' on the left, you can order them in bulk for FREE.

Oh no! I did wonder about that. The invite I rec'd said to order BF guides but when I placed my order it said 'thank you for your catalog order'. Hmmm. I already have a butt-load of catalogs so I hope they don't send more of those!

Funny...after I posted this I checked my email and there was a message from Motherwear saying that the breastfeeding guides have been printed and are ready to order!! haha what a coincidence. I ordered them and got a confirmation email specifically about the guides (though I also had the message about catalogs after the order). I guess we just wait and see.

These guides are great! I've gotten them for years for my childbirth classes.
Also check out Medela, they used to have small bf guides, don't know if they still have them available.
Another thing I like to give out are coupons for a free Mothering magazine...great magazine, full of alternative information for pregnancy, birth and parenting. Beats the typical Baby Talk magazine.

I just love freebies and get as many as I can for classes and doula clients!

...and free nursing pads from Johnson & Johnson and free nursing mothers tea from Traditional Medicinal teas...put altogether it makes a nice little goodie bag for the mother-to-be.

I just got my free CDC Guide to Breastfeeding Interventions in the mail. I have not had a chance to read the entire thing but it is intersting, so far. More for people like us than moms to be. I think the most you can order is 5 so I went ahead and did that so I would feel free to lend them or give them to other childbirth people. They have other free things in print but didn't seem to have the ones I wanted in stock...
