Anyone else getting super excited about the DONA conference?
So I just received my confirmation e-mail from the hotel and I got super excited! Time away from the kids and home to listen and learn about things I truly LOVE! WOOOHOO! Anyone else excited? I'm also pumped about meeting some of my alldoula's sista's!

I am THRILLED to be going again this year. I signed up early enough that I got my pick of the optional classes as well. I can't wait to hear P. Simkin again!!
I remember last time I attended that I felt there should be some way to get to know who was there. Maybe we should make a running list from alldoulas???

I can't post on my own profile, because I neglected to figure out my password while still at home... so I'm temporarily not "DoulaDani", just Dani.
Well, I've already been here since yesterday afternoon, and we're having lots of fun! Can't wait until you all get here! The plaza next to the hotel has lots of restaurants, and places to hang out. The pool/lake also seems like a fun destination. I enjoyed it for an hour yesterday afternoon, but left when I noticed that a sunburn was about to happen. My room was ready, so I no longer had a good excuse to stay outside.
I'll probably be meeting several of you during the regional lunch on Friday, or maybe at dinner on Saturday night (plans are being made to get groups together... make sure you sign up for a group when you get here... there's lots of good options)
I'm super excited, too!! I can't wait to see you guys!
