Elena was one of the leaders of the Conscious Birth movement in Russia from 1982-1989. She worked closely with Dr. Igor Charovsky, organizing birth camps on the coast of the Black Sea where babies were delivered in the water with wild dolphins. These natural births were the result of a very effective program of preparation during pregnancy that minimized risk of birth trauma for everyone involved. From this, a much deeper understanding developed about the correlation between early experiences(during gestation, birthing and the first year of life) and behavioral patterns of an adult.
