Francesca Lauria has agreed to teach her workshop on breech
presentation and birth in DC on Saturday afternoon, March 24.

Breech Workshop
This workshop will be a 3-hour intensive on breech presentation and
breech birth.
We will be covering the following things and more:
Recognizing breech presentation prenatally
Psycho-physiological reasons for breech presentation
Physical/medical reasons for breech
Options for turning the baby
Risking out of vaginal breech birth
Counseling the client with a breech presenting baby
Surprise breech
Normal breech labor
Managing a breech birth
Warning signs
When to transport
Immediate postpartum

There will be hands-on demonstrations of the variation of breech as
well as video footage of home born breeches: double footling, frank
and complete. These are private videos so you would not have seen
them before. Hand-outs of the topics covered will also be provided.
There will be ample opportunity for dialogue and having your
questions answered.

This workshop will be taught by Francesca Lauria. She has attended
over 40 breech births and has 17 years of experience.
