About Harbin Hot Springs Retreat Center:

Harbin is a gorgeous healing arts and hot spring retreat center in Northern California, located two and a half hours north of San Francisco.

We will be in the Mountain Lodge, a private building that we have all to ourselves for the weekend. Students may camp outside in the meadow, or sleep slumber-party style in the Mountain Lodge classroom.

The entire weekend will be catered with vegetarian options, as well as chicken and salmon. We will have chai and snacks during the days. It will be a glorious weekend and students are welcome to enjoy the Harbin hot springs and facilities when not in class, or before and after the workshop.

About Birth Arts International...

Birth Arts Doula Trainings are open to anyone interested in learning to support women through pregnancy, birth, and immediate postpartum. This workshop is perfect for aspiring doulas, aspiring midwives, nurses, childbirth educators, college students, parents, and more.

The Birth Arts Doula Training balances evidence-based research on best maternity care practices with intuition, women's wisdom and traditional midwifery. We empower women to become doulas through our intensive course, which include a residential weekend workshop, ongoing mentoring, distance course work, and a Birth Arts Doula certification option.

Learn to support women giving birth at home, hospitals, and birth centers. Learn techniques to comfort women in labor, including massage, rebozo, touch, position, relaxation, and movement. Connect with others who are passionate about advocating for mothers, babies, and families!
