I got my stuff a couple of days ago and expect the study guide on Monday as well!!! Wow, there is a lot of stuff, huh. Baby steps....

Red face

Yay....you two received your PfB stuff!!!

Yes, there is A LOT of stuff....but wait until you see that LI Study Guide!

I'm having a hard time getting my mind together and studying, to be honest with you. It's just hard for me to know where to start. The PfB stuff seems to have a lot of artsy stuff that is going to be a HUGE challenge for me (I am NOT artsy and NOT creative). If I see an example of something, I can run with it....but to make it up on my own...I've never been good at that. I don't even draw stick people very well, let alone draw a picture of an empowering birth environment! I think that I am more right-brained than left-brained.

Ok....just getting some stress out! I have started listening to the CD, and it is really good!!! Listening to that and writing how I "feel" about it is the first thing that I've started working on. (P. 24 Purple page) I'm also better at figuring out what I "think" than what I "feel". The two are very different.

Alright ladies! If you two ever want to "get together" and discuss a common topic we're studying, maybe we can do a chat (if Tiff ok's it). I am very excited that we'll be taking this journery together!

I was going to start with the collage. I picked up a couple of magazines last night. I figure I could accomplish two tasks at the same time with them...pg8 and pg46

Yep...I could do that one too (making the collage, that is)! I'm thinking that my feelings about it will be something like, "there are a lot of pregnant bellies on this paper". I am sooooo NOT good at stuff like that!!!! ...or maybe, "I feel silly making a collage of pregnant bellies and trying to figure out what my feelings about it are!" You can see how this is going to be challenging for me, huh?!

Thumbs up

Good points, Stacie!

Ok....so shall we do the collage by Monday or Tuesday? I'm game! Shoot...I'll even try to get "touchy-feely" (I actually am physically...but not so much emotionally...does that make sense?)!
