Got my pfb LAMAZE stuff

Hi,
This morning my pfb Lamaze package arrived and I was so excited. Looking through the Journal, book and documentation I felt energized and absolutely confident that I had made the right decision. It took me over 2 yrs to decide what certifying body to use for my CBE stuff and because my background is in Adult Ed., the education piece of it was VERY important to me. Pfb's stuff is so incredible from an Adult Ed. perspective and it is exactly geared towards how I love to learn.

Then....another package arrived this afternoon which was the Official LAMAZE study guide - you know, the 5lb binder I am still excited, I still know I have chosen the right program but admittedly I am also a bit overwhelmed. What a big book!!!!! Funny me thought the stuff that arrived this morning was it I know once I start working my way through the stuff I will feel better but I do have so much work ahead of me.

Well, off to begin my reading....

Cheers,
Shawna

One thing I know has helped me was I bought 4 binders and broke down the Lamaze stuff into them. Not only is it easier to handle, it looks more manageable that way!

Have fun!

not to scare you but the funny thing about the "Big Blue Book of Everything" as I like to call it is this...every section actually has references to even more resources (articles, books videos, websites). My husband freaked out when I told him that it isn't even half the material! I am concentrating on reading the books on the recommended reading list for now. I read through 3 sections so far from the binder. I pulled out one section at a time and kept it in a regular folder until I was ready to return it to the Blue Book. Just another option!

BTW Yeah!!!

Great idea about pulling out the section. girls, thanks. I recently realized that the BIG blue binder wasn't the half of it Christy - oh well, at least we know we will be well informed Thanks for the heads up.

My sister is completing her M.Ed and she took a look at the pile of material sitting on my table and said "great, now we can be in school together'. I was like wait a sec...I already did that and got the paper to prove it. Still, going back to school ain't all bad... I wonder if it justifies buying some back to school clothes ? At least some workout clothes so I can lift that blue binder

See I am already procrastinating by rambling...back to LAMAZE I go...

Cheers, Shawna
