Good resource

Hi,
Jodi (asafepassage) sent this link to me in another thread and I wanted to pull it out and post is seperately as I think it could be very helpful to other educators.

http://www.beststart.org/resources/a...abuse_lr_f.pdf

It is a short document on how to deal with issues of abuse and violence in prenatal ed. classes. The resources and laws at the end are specific to Ontario but the rest of the information is general in nature and I think it provides some great suggestions about how we can 'easily' address this in our classes.

Cheers,
Shawna

Thanks for posting this; I saved it to my files for future reference. Sadly, I do have a client who has been abused..prior to pregnancy and it cycles. She refuses to get help and all I can do is let her know that I am there for her.
