Almost done course design

I am almost done my lamaze course design - it is due Jan. 29th. I am going on vacation for a week and so had to get most of it done before I went. I am so glad it is almost done because there were times when I though I was going to I can't wait to see it all put together in the binder.

Next step will be getting it approved, teaching it with a lamaze evaluator and then writing the exam in April! Almost....

Well, Congratulations with having it mostly finished, and on all the rest of it!! I still have mine to write (due date come and gone, but I've been in contact with Teri about that), as I'm currently reading and studying. I think my biggest worry about the course design, at present, is knowing how long to give each portion and coming up with supplies.

Oh Shawna!!! That's soooo awesome! I sooo wish I was anywhere near complete. I just got a list of available materials from the retiring cbe so I will have an idea of what I have to use and incorporate it into my design.
Good for you! I hope you have a GREAT vacation!!!!

how exciting that must be! I am in the same boat as Lori...my date has come and gone. I do feel like I could write the course design but when I do the self-eval I feel like I have more reading to do before I am really ready. Every time I read a book I go back through the self-eval to see if I feel I am making progress. It helps me feel like I am still on track even though I am not working on the course design right now.
Can't wait to hear your course was approved!!!!!
