Where do you teach classes?

I'm curious about what kinds of locations are used to teach childbirth education classes and which locations are most common.

Right now I'm teaching out of a Chiropractors office. I was going to teach out of a yoga studio but the owner wanted to charge me an outrageous amount of money.

Our church has office space and they are letting me use it free of charge. The church doesn't meet there and there is nothing "religious" in the office.

I have taught in many locations. Currently, I am using a Network Chiropractic Office. I teach weekend immersions, so it's perfect for me. They are very supportive of my work and their space is holistic and beautiful.

Yoga studios don't work so well for me, as they are usually having classes on evenings and weekends (prime CBE times!).

I've also used a cottage meeting room at a Unitarian congregation, a commnunity center, a birth center, a hospital meeting room, and private classes in people's homes.

I'm currently looking into a Natural Healing Center too.

In people's homes, my home, an ultrasound clinic, and at my church (a faith-based class).

I'm not currently teaching, but in the past I have held classes at the hospital, library, park, doctor's office, maternity store, riverfront, healthfood store, and private sessions in the students home.

Once I relocate to warmer climates, I anticipate that I will hold more childbirth classes outside than not as it seems to suit my style of teaching and always helps relax the couples further. I'll have access to the forest, parks, beach, river, and a variety of different terrains that would be condusive to my class outline.

I hadn't thought of teaching outside before! I think that would be lovely.
