I'm trying to finish up printing some articles for my binders (first prenatal meeting tomorrow night ~ ack!) and I want to print some brochures on circumcision. Problem is that as usual when I try to print brochures, it's cutting off the very beginning of one side. EVEN THOUGH this brochure is MADE to fit 8½ x 11 paper! Ugh! Why does it do this???
It's in Adobe; is there a way to resize it or anything??? These are great brochures, and I know that these particular clients are discussing the circ decision right now, so they would probably be of great value to them. I don't have any legal size paper, or I'd just use that. (And I'll have DH get some if all else fails.)
Wait a sec - are these from nocirc? Are they cutting off just the first letter along one side? That's what they seem to do. The ones I printed did that (if they're from nocirc)

Yep! Them's the ones! I guess I'll just have to get some legal sized paper. Hmmmm....maybe I have some around this office somewhere...

Anyone have any ideas? TIA!
When you have the document open in adobe, click on file/print and then look for the "auto rotate and center" option or "reduce to printer margins". Some printers won't print to the edge of the side of the paper that comes out of the printer last. The wheels on the printer feed can't hold the paper stable enough to allow for printing so the printer drivers will cut off any print or text beyond that predetermined point. For most printers its .6 or .58 on the bottom of each page or right side of a horizontal page.

THANK YOU, Angie!
I had to check both "auto rotate and center" and "choose paper source by PDF page size." Printing the first one now, and IT'S WORKING!!! Woo hoo!!!
This is going to save me another trip to the store tomorrow AND MONEY. LOL! I've already almost used up my BRAND NEW black ink cartridge (and almost half of the color one) printing out articles for my binder. Time to visit Dell's ordering site again... LOL

No problem.
I suggest printing out a master copy for yourself, then another print making copy and just go to a copy store or office depot place and making copies from there to save money.
I use a 3 ring binder and page protectors for all the handouts I give and then I get the binder back at our final visit. If the clients want a copy of the binder contents I can burn them a disk in PDF if they want.
