Website help - connecting pages

I use the computer a lot, but am not very knowledgable when it comes to web pages. I finally figured out how to do one of those that you don't have to know the html language for, but if you look at it - don't expect much as it's just bare bones right now.

Does anyone know how to get a page to have those places, I guess their called buttons, so that someone can go to another page from your main home page? I figured out how to create other pages, such as a photo album and another page to find out info. about doula services, but don't know how to connect them. Any advice is very welcome.
Thanks,
Sabrina in NC

Red face Sabrina...

I love the purple background coloring and the rose! Beautiful!

As for buttons.... I used Microsoft FrontPage to make my website, so I don't know how different other applications are. There are others on this site that are far more knowledgable than I about building web pages. On FrontPage, they use "tables and cells". You insert a button in the field and insert a hyperlink. You then type in the address for the page that you want hyperlinked to. That is what takes you from one page to the next. Unfortunately, I don't know how to explain it in a more clear way. I don't know if that made any sense at all, or even if it applies to the application that you're using. I'm sure someone else can help you in a more exact way. Did I succeed in confusing you? Sorry!

Not me! I'm working with Tiffany (alldoulas momma) on my template and putting text and pictures on to the site. I'm totally clueless so I'm very impressed that you have gotten as far as you have!

Yesterday I typed up a "home page" and sent it of to Tif, then I totally panicked (sp) and told her "NO, WAIT, STOP!!!" I completely freaked out. I think I was just pushing myself too hard.

Lavender, we are a very open, warm, loving, supportive group here. So I'm sure that others will reply that CAN help you.

Have you been to the intro section yet? If not pop on over so we can all welcome you.
