New Website...
We have been working very hard on our new website and it is finally up and running !!!
My talented friend Janet helped us. She has a wonderful collection of birth art that she let us choose from. It took a long time !!!
Please check it out...there are some wonderful quotes, book reviews and links.
I asked her today to add alldoulas.com as a link.
I would appreciate any comments or anything ideas you might have to make it more accessible.

Carla, It looks great.
I only have two suggestions.
The Mendencino Midwife link should open that website in a separate window, that way you link away from your site, your main webpage is still open behind the new page.
The community link graphic is, well graphic. The picture you have there might startle and off put some. Just my

I think it looks great, although I haven't gotten to look at all of it. I have been reading the book reviews you have posted. This is a fantastic resource page! Thanks!!
I agree with the PP about the Mendocino Midwife link opening to a new window. I have bookmarked your page and will be checking often to see what else is up. I can't wait for the articles. Looks great!

Thanks for all your comments so far....I agree about how the page should open and will take care of that asap.
Funny...I thought the community link graphic was grahic..and will eventually find another photo for that page. I just got a new little digital camera for taking photos at births.
What struck me looking at my friends collection of birth art from all other the world is that in almost every photo there is a classic "triad".....the birth women surrounded by usually two other women - holding her or assisting her. I imagine that one is a midwife and the other a doula.
