Another Business Name Poll
So, I'm a newbie doula and hopefully soon to be CBE, and I am trying to decide on a business name to put on cards, etc. My step father in law has offered to do a website for me (he's a proessional web designer) which is awesome, but I don't know what to call my business. For some reason, I really like the idea of using the word "Village", as in "It Takes a Village" (which is already a doula business name) because I think of the doula's role as being a team member. But maybe I should just stick with my name, that way I'm getting "my name" out there everytime I meet someone. But my name is kind of hard to pronoune and spell....
well, maybe you can help me decide.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Village Birth Services. I would just make sure you say 'serviceS' since you are offering more than one service. Great job! I love the meaning behind it as well and immediately knew (well, hoped) that was the meaning you were going for.

My husband just suggested the following name:
Loo Loo's Doozy of a Doula Service.
He calls me Loo Loo when I am being crazy. Not Lulu, becaus it is more about the sound... loo, loo, loo.

I actuallly like that. You might want it to be birth services like earlier stated instead of doula though. I like those off the wall names. It says something about you. Mine is Whoz Your Doula Birth Services. Kind of long but, it has stuck.
