Webpage check

Ok I got my new domain name, revamped my page (thank you Doula Button Goddess) and I "think" it's ready to go. Can you all check it for me? I plan on adding another page with my favorite links and one for my clients birth stories and other pictures. http://www.cloud9doula.com
Be gentle. I'm a doula not a web developer...
Thanks.

Woohoo - it looks really great!!!! Just one section that I saw an error (don't get mad please Under past clients you wrote "It was such an honor to work family' not sure what that was supposed to say. I know for me there are times when I read something over and over again only to still have someone finds errors - of course I love it when people tell me otherwise the error stays there forever.

Other than that I loved the website though!!!!! It looks great. Did it take you a long time to put it together?

Haha I'm not mad. You know, when you look at something over and over and know what it is supposed to say, not what it actually says? That's why I want other to look it over. It did take a lot of work, most of all of our long weekend and that is even with the base of my old page http://www.angelfire.com/realm2/1stimestar/
Thanks, going to change it now...

Your link to Jake's story isn't working. It looks like the link if missing the "d" in cloud.

Very good Georganne! It looks wonderful and serves your purpose well.

There is one itsy bitsy thing that I, as a designer get really picky about. The quality of the buttons was somehow degraded in your webpage creation process. What did you use to put the buttons on the page? It looks like it just resaved the images as poor quality. Although no one else probably notices at all, like I said as a designer it is something I am picky about.

What I mean is... here is a button as I sent it to you:

And here it is from your page:

See the difference in the text? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Yes I see the difference. I'll work on it tonight because yea, the quality of your beautiful buttons should shine! I don't know what I did lol. I had to try several different ways to get them on the back ground of dark clouds, then make them into hot spots, then get the program to save them all as one element etc. or something.

Ok, I see what you did. It's all one big image and the buttons are an image map. Frontpage is trying to be helpful by saving that big image at a smaller resolution so it's losing quality that way.

If you add each button image to your page and link each button seperately, it won't be a problem.

Yea, I tried it that way first. I couldn't get it to work. I'll try again or to do something different.

Oh yea, I couldn't do it that way as I couldn't put the images on top of the dark cloud image without saving them all together as one image, hence having to make it an image map. Does that make sense? Like I said, not a web developer lol.

If you create a table cell and put the dark cloud image as the background of that table cell, you will be able to put and center the buttons on top and save them individually.

Ha, that is the way it is SUPPOSED to work. Like I said, I spent all of my 3 day weekend working on this, and THAT is what took up most of my time. It wouldn't work like it was supposed to, followed directions in the help menu step by step and it still wouldn't work.
