It's that time! Post your website!

I have had my current style for over a year. I am itching to change it. Here is is -- take a look before it's gone forever!

www.birthmarkdoula.com

Also, I am looking at cleaning things up a bit, like my services/fees page -- I feel they d r a g o u t too much. I am going for a springier look, with pinks as the main color.

I would welcome any suggestions! I particularly hate my gallery and would welcome another way to display my pics .

Post yours -- tell us what you like, what you hate/would enjoy ideas about.

I love your website and that it is black and white! Very clean.
I added the to my resource page - Midwives, hospitals in the community, baby sign language etc. if it's in you to refer to such places you may consider adding something like that

I'm going to be adding to mine as well - would love input. To me less seems to be more - but it never turns out that way, we seem to have so much information that we want to get in the hands of others!

Rena, I love your header, and that font! Yours is very clean, too...not as wordy as mine feels.

I was thinking, on my first page, "doulas," I could just have the whole thing be my DONA essay ("labor support"). Does it not basically say all the same stuff? Would that be too impersonal? I still might need an "about me" if I wanted to use the other stuff on the page though.

I am open to ideas!

Great sites! I've been messing with mine for two weeks. I am going to wait until after the DONA workshop in March to release mine. I keep changing things every day. I added a library section and resourses page this week. I love to see other doulas sites and what they have done. Mine is very pink too!

I am going to add a "resources" section, and I would like to add more links, and have have more photos, of people other than me.

I think I play around with mine too much, and have left little to the imagination (too wordy, too much info ) But it's free and doesn't get much traffic, so I'm just having fun ...for now.

I just got mine up, and still need to decide on a logo and get that up. I also don't have anything to go in the testimony or photos section.

I we're talkin' 'bout fees at the next DACO meeting, so I'll get that figured out soon. And I need to get my phone # up.

So, yeah, it's a work in progress, but I'd love y'all's imput. From the Heart Birth Services

Yeah, mine's only about 4 mos old, but i never finshed all my pages/articles! Now that I am with #3, I need to change my "about me" page to reflect that! I actually had a really good friend with whom I'd lost contact from (we were high school buds) hunt me down via the web and found my site and emailed me yesterday! Pretty crazy! Any who, I also need to add my pic and hound my friends that I have doual'd for for their testimonials and pics of their babies.....all in "due" time! Check it out, anyway!

I like the gray and green together, but your photos do sort of get lost in it, KWIM? You said you are changing? Can't wait to see it!

Wow! I love your header and font, too! my ONLY advice would be that the links were sort of hard for me to find because they belnd in with the rest of the text. The rollover does help, though!

I love your logo! So cute! And I like the "suggested reading" button in your nav. I think that is helpful, instead of just saying, "Hey, I've got some book if ya wanna read 'em!" That way, they know that you've read them and that you reccomend them

I am sick of the grey and black, and I redid my gallery, too . I haven't posted the updated version yet -- no unveiling for a couple days, I think .

These are fun . Rapberry, I love your pink and your raspberries, lol, they make me want something sweet. I don't know if it is my browser, but I can't read things very well, the font is small on my viewing-end. Boy, I wish I had some sweet berries!
