I love it and I just love how you put "Accredited breastfeeding counselor (LLLI)" I always put PROUD LLLI Leader on my bio. totally inside joke out here since I was told I can't have LLL on anything I put down, then our DA went and put LLL Leader on everything she could get her hands on.. so now I am a PROUD LLLI Leader. But I do like yours better

It's really nice. Very easy to navigate and simple! PERFECT. The only thing I might consider changing is the color but that's just me.

I love it Stacie and I also love the color because its not something you see on every other doula site .Its very eye catching and energetic IMO .

I agree with everyone else, it looks great.

The only thing I'd change is the quotation of statistics. DONA told us a few years ago that more recent studies don't bear out what the original studies did when it came to how a doula can lower interventions and cesarean rates. So you're quoting old data and data that DONA asked us to stop using. I'd take out the percentages and just list that doulas can decrease the rates of a, b, c as an alternative.

Hmm, I have never heard this. Georganne, do you know about this? I will check with my DONA sources and see what they are saying now.

I like the color, I may change it at some point, but I want to keep this site simple and not mess with it constantly (like I have a tendency to do!).

IIRC (if I recall correctly) it was announced at the 2003 conference in San Francisco. But it was announced. I took the actual stats off my brochures when they mentioned it.

I haven't heard of that at all but will certainly look into it. But if you are quoting the original studies, then those are the numbers for THOSE studies. I'll get back to you all about it.
