What do you think??
So I've been doing a lot of tinkering with my website and am finally happy with it.  Please tell me what you think. www.headfirstdoulas.com
I know that when you bring it up or change pages the navagation bar flashes but there's nothing I can do to fix it. It's because I used a hack to change the bottons. |

On my browser (newest version of Firefox for Mac), the buttons for the navigation are light pink with white text, which makes them hard to read. Other than that, I like it!

On your payment page, you have some typos; you have:
"Because I belive evey woman should have the support of a doula my fee is negotiable."
I think you probably meant to say "I believe every woman"....

Well I absolutely adore your illustrations! SUPER cute and I actually think your design should highlight them better because they really show your personality. Your content is good too.
When it comes to the design however, things are a bit messy. Your navigation is freaking out in Firefox:
and honestly even in Internet Explorer the white lettering on pink background is difficult to read. The fonts throughout don't have good continuity, in some places I think the font size is too big and there is far too much in italics. Overall the look of the site doesn't wow me.
OUCH, I know, totally harsh! But, I don't pull punches when it comes to website stuff because I think you deserve to hear honest opinions. |

So I changed the navagation text to black-easier to read. Got rid of the italics. I have the same two fonts throughout so I'm not sure what you mean by not having good continuity??? Any ideas on how to better highlight my logo? I know there are a few problems like the flickering, and nav bar looks funny in firefox because I had to use hack codes. I've tried several times to use your sweat pea theme but I can't get it on my website??? |

You have hosting through Office Live right? If you are using their free plan you aren't allowed to upload your own html files, so that's probably why my template isn't working for ya. I'd recommend Godaddy.com hosting for $3.99 a month. |

I second the GoDaddy recommendation. I have had my sites with them for 3 years and found they are a very reliable hosting site for a good price...
