I really, really like it. I think it looks very professional and though I don't have the time right now to go through all the text, the pages I have clicked on make a very good first impression. I think you have mastered mambo and that feat in itself is a great accomplishment.

It's a beautiful and very professional site, Ashley! Everything I say is going to be more nit-picky than "fix this problem!".
-The "services" section was probably the least polished to me. At first I thought the services "home" page was all you included, because I didn't look to the menu at left. You might want to think about including the links in the text area, or mentioning that you have three different packages--see the menu at left. The first paragraph, it's a little hard to understand what it is you do. Even though it might seem a little repetitive, you might think about doing a bullet-point list of the things you do--'cause that's what some of your potential clients are going to be asking--what exactly do you do? Then in the fees paragraph on the "services home" area, you might mention that fees are included in the description of each package.
-Within the services--in the childbirth education package, again, I don't feel like I totally understand what's being offered. How are the childbirth education classes different from the prenatals? Will they take place instead of or at the same meeting as the regular prenatals? Would they be taking the place of a hospital childbirth class (like, do you teach partner-based comfort measures, positions, and so on?). Then, in the luxurious package, I would highlight what makes this package different from the other packages. Maybe give specific examples of what an imaginary luxurious client receives, while saying that the package will be customized for the client. Emphasize how much FUN this can be.
-In the epidurals area, I really like that you include both negatives and positives about having an epidural. I would put right up front that you will work with all mothers, whatever pain control measures they plan on using. Instead of saying "don't throw the idea of having a doula out the window", you might state this more positively--tell the client that a doula provides valuable services for women with epidurals. (I know you have this info at the end, but I would put it both places--and make sure it's very clear.) Actually, you might consider shortening this section and including the more detailed info in your prenatal visits.
I hope this is helpful! Like I said, it's a gorgeous site.
Thanks Wendy - Actually, the services section is one that I just changed, so it isn't completely finished. I agree with everything you said. It is a little rushed as I just wanted to make sure I have everything on there, then I could sit back and think about it before changing again. You gave me some great ideas!

Hi Ashley,
I like this color combo too (but I like the other one just as much!). Above your logo there is a thin black line that fades out as it goes across and for some reason it is really distracting to my eyes. Are you still having your new logo created? I would love to see it integrated into your site soon!
Your content is great, very professional. I also see you managed to change your meta description and keywords. Woohoo! Search engines here you come!
Now I have a strange question... What is wire grass? (I've heard of it but don't know what it is!)
It is the name of the area in which I live..... The "Wiregrass" area. It's an extinct grass that used be in this area..... it's stupid really.

I can't seem to get the color to fade right, and I can't leave it off. Stupid Mambo Template..... I hate it too, it always catches my eye. arg.
My logo is done, but I haven't paid yet, so I don't want to put it on my website yet. Here it is.. the final
I think it will look great with the colors...
