Last time I ask about business names--I promise! :)
It has been very difficult for me to work out a logo/business identity with what I had in mind for Bella Maternity Services. I had been toying around with the Italian thing and using grapes and vines on a pregnant belly to represent fertility... So the name "Bella Luna Maternity Services" has been in my mind since the beginning (just because when I hear "bella" I think "bella luna" from Moonstruck, )
If I go with Bella, I may try to use a flower or something to represent "beauty"
If I go with Bella Luna, everything will have a whimsicle, moon and stars feeling (including my birthcenter/spa I am to create someday!).
With the whole Bella Luna thing, I like tying "moon" in with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum (babymoon time) which is good since I will do prenatal education and yoga, birth doula and postpartum doula services (and eventually midwifery). So I leave it to you, my most trusted business advisors!
Once I get this figured out, I am going to register my website domain and get crackin' on my new website, business cards, and general marketing what-not!
Thanks so much for your advice in advance!
I have read StellaLuna and thought it was soooo sweet! But I don't want my business name evoking images of bats, necessarily, HAHA.
It is looking like "Bella" is going to be sticking around. It does simplify things a bit. I've been drawing some logos that I'll be sharing and asking for opinions on eventually. Thanks, ladies for voting and sharing!
Ashley-the-doula!...You're back and posting! Yay! (missed you!)
I voted for just bella, too Simply because it is easier to wrap your mouth around. I agree that the logo that Bella Luna may produced could be really neat, but i think it's easier to remember and say without the "luna." Just my humble worth!

I voted for just Bella Maternity...the other one reminds me of wine, for some reason!
