Breastfeeding Support Specialist Training with OPS?

I was going to sign up for this but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this course? Did it better prepare you to work with nursing mothers and to help them get on the right foot with breastfeeding? I wish the CBI course were up so that I could compare!

I am in the midst of the course and Kathy being my "employer" I don't know if I am the right person to sepak on this. I think that it is full of alot of good information, but you need to be a self-starter and motivator....

I'm coming towards the end of the course now, and I really cant recommend it enough!
It's very comprehensive, really thought provoking, and leads you to do a lot of personal investigation to complete the units. Unlike the CBI course will be, you get the interaction from others in your class, and are able to read their answers and assignments which often bring up aspects you hadn't realised when doing your own answers.

I definitely feel more confident in helping a new mother when it comes to breastfeeding now, so the course is well worth the money

i love OPS that is just my feelings. i have not taken the course but i have taken several other of her courses.

you do need to be self motivated!! but i think you will love the way the courses run
