What's the best Online Degree Program?

I'm looking into my options for Online study programs. Does anyone know of any others besides Pheonix and AIU?

For a degree in what? You don't need a degree to be a doula

I attend the University of Maryland's online division. It is the University of Maryland University College. Its a real school, not a for profit business and its the oldest correspondence school that helps military personel get their degree. I love it, the teachers are excellent, and the classes are very thorough and HARD! I'm a psych major, with a minor in Women's Studies, but they offer a ton of degrees. You can check them out at www.umuc.edu .

There is also The Union Institute that offers distance degrees, and a lot of other real schools that do as well. You can also check out your local college(s) to see what they offer, you would be surprised. SUNY, the State University of NY also has a distance school.

What kind of degree are you looking for?

My understanding right now is that depending on what you are looking for a degree in, a lot of potential employers do not look favorably on schools like university of pheonix.

DH "goes" to Union. It's actually based here in Cincinnati, but he does all his classes online. It is pretty expensive, tho - his employer pays for it, which is pretty much the only reason he's going there and not Univ. of Cinci.
You might also try local universities and community colleges. Many offer evening and/or weekend degree programs for adults looking to complete a degree.
