I am struggling with the paper. I've been writing it for a few months now but it's still not done enough to submit. BUT I'M DONE WITH EVERYTHING ELSE! My goal is to be certified by July 31st so I'm working hard. Anyone care to read and critique a paper?

Well, I just submitted my draft paper today. I've done all the physiology tests and 2 book reports. I've attended the births, but have to wait for the comm assignment before I can evaluate them. I still have to do the CBE too, that one is a bit confusing for me. Am I supposed to interview CBEs, or just use my area resources to compile a list of sorts?

I have everything done and submitted. I am just waiting to hear feedback on my communication draft. It's been about 2 weeks now and I haven't heard anything. Does anyone know how long it should take?

How did your second birth go? If you don't mind sharing

I'm doing the birth/PP doula and CBE cert and I'm basicly done. all i need is my #2 birth / pp client to have her baby (any day now) and for the CBE part all i have to do is teach a class, filim it, and do the bit of paper work and then i'm done!!! Woooo

I just need to find the time to really go over my lesson plan for my formal course.

michelle, I'll read it! PM me!

Melissa, it took about 3 weeks for my trainer to get back to me, but her grandmother had just died.. so i don't know if that's why it took a little longer. The site says to give about 2 weeks. If it's been 2 weeks, just email your trainer and confirm she got it (she probably did, but it's better than saying, WHERE"S MY PAPER? GET ON THE BALL WOMAN!! lol)

I completed the birth doula in March!!

I have one assignment left in the CBE (and I am awaiting marking on one still).

I have done the tests in the postpartum doula, need to do book reviews, clients, and assessment of something local.

For my CBE I still have 3 book reports, the course evaluation, Part 6 - Self Evaluation of Teaching, Part 7 - Client Profile, Part 8 - Teaching Scenarios, Part 9 - Teaching Quiz.........and then the feedback on teaching skills

For my Postpartum Doula, I still have 3 book reports, need to support 2 clients, do the postpartum services survey, and feedback on doula skills

For my birth doula, I still need to do the entire communications assignment and then the feedback on the communication, assist in 1 more birth and actually turn in my info for the birth I just assisted with, and do the childbirth class survey

not too terrible! It's a lot to do, but I still have over 2 years so I am not stressed

I have done most of my birth doula course. I'm just waiting for my second client to have her baby in August, and I have to do 2 more book reports, then I'm done! I'm starting to loose motivation though! I can't seem to get into the book I am reading at the moment!

I have done some of my physiology tests. Done 1 birth and have another in August. Still have to do my Reflection paper too. Seems thats the one that takes the longest and is the hardest to do. My book reports and my CBE class.

I "think" that is it.

Nic, I think when your trying to study at home it's so easy to loose motivation. I am struggling to get any study done lately as my baby won't sleep for me and my 3 year old never stops.
