CBI Doula Physiology Manuals

OK, since there was a couple people wondering about the new manual format for the Birth Doula Physiology for Birth Manual, I thought I'd post some info here.

If you are a Doula/CBE COMBO student you will get 4 manuals: Communication Skills, Physiology for Birth for Doula/CBE, Birth Doula Skills, and Teaching Skills.

If you are a Doula ONLY student, you will get 3 manuals: Communication Skills, Physiology for Birth for Doula, and Birth Doula Skills.

Previously to this week, if you were a birth doula only, your Physiology for Birth Manual should NOT have had the extra sections for Prenatal Testing & Screening, and Introduction to Lactation.

If you are a Birth Doula student and you recieved a Physiology for Birth text that included Prenatal Testing and Intro to Lactation, you recieved the doula/cbe textbook by mistake.

This week, CBI changed the Physiology manual for Birth Doula to include these 2 extra sections because of the mixups with manuals at Cafe Press.

Birth Doulas were getting Doula/CBE manuals and Doula/CBE students were getting the Birth Doula manuals (so they were missing the extra 2 CBE sections on prenatal testing and lactation).

I hope this all makes sense It makes sense to me because I've been dealing with them over this issue since May lol. I have yet to see my Doula/CBE Physiology manual, and have 2 Birth Doula Physiology manuals.

CBI has been awesome about all this and really, it's Cafe Press that is sending out the wrong manuals.

Thanks, Lisa. I got the combined physiology manual a few weeks ago, but I'm not complaining. I'm glad I don't have to access those sections online only.

Sorry you still haven't gotten the correct manual. That's a bummer.

Ah that's ok. Lynne called me last week (love her accent lol) and then emailed me and said to let her know if I haven't received the replacement by the 28th.. so far, no replacement.

I'm just glad I can access the info online.
