Is there a distance learning women's herbal course that anyone knows of and can recommend? I'm very interested in learning more about the use of herbs during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, and would love to find a course. Thanks!

The birth Arts and the the Womens herbal course from Heart of herbs are one and the same. I just finished it and I really liked it. I feel like I have a good understanding and knowlage of herbs for women and what I don't know I have the ways to find out.
At first I thought it was a little confusing and hard to get into but once I got into the groove I learned so much about it.! It is the only one I know of that is up and running at the moment.
There was one called Herbs for Mother and baby that is no longer running I have the PFD which I would be happy to forward to you just for general knowlage. PM me with an email if you would like it.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. I should have checked you link before I posted mine. I clicked your link afterwards and so "Oh, it's the same one." DUH!
Demetria and I did our Doula training together. So I know she is really good. She desperately needs a good editor, but she knows her stuff.

How do you like it? I've been looking at that one myself.
It's a really good program. I looked at a lot of different program before I chose her MH program but I am very pleased. First of all it is one of the few that is a pure distance program - most require at least occasional weekend stays, which I just can't do. It also seems to be one of the few that actually wants you to use herbs! LOL It comes with herbs, you send your herbal formulas back, etc... Others I looked at used herbs "theoretically".
My biggest criticism would be that it is an editorial nightmare to read the materials. The need of a good proofreader/editor is incredible. To the point that it is really hard to read and follow -and honestly I almost returned it because of that. I decided to stick with it though and I am really glad I did as the quality of the material is excellent.
Yes, the need for reediting is great.
I agree.
We are ALWAYS working on it and know we have to constantly revise to keep current with herbal info and research, but I do get behind editing the 1200 page course.
Someone asked about my doula training, I have participated as a student in at least 8 last count.
