CBI Students - Talk to me

Okay. I have had access to my CBI training for about a week now. I have already read through the communication section, and am nearing the end of the physiological section. I have started my communication project, but I want to let some of it 'marinate' so I am taking my time completing that. I decided that I would start reading the next section and then re-read it again after I have turned in/completed my communication assignment.

I am worrying that I am moving through this too quickly! I am retaining a lot of the information, I check on that, but I don't know. How long did it take everyone to work on the 'bookwork' in the CBI course? Maybe I am just being silly. I am dual cert-ing, with CBE as well. Any thoughts on how long this can/should take me? I am REALLY into it!!

I signed up for CBI on January 29 and now all I need to do for certification is attend two births. I really quickly read through everything and did the tests and such. It was just so interesting to me and so exciting to finally be on my doula journey that I just soaked it all up.

You're not freakish! All I have to do is attend the class and two births, and I started in March. I think it's just easy to get immersed in it and therefore you breeze through it quickly! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I felt bad for not working "hard" enough, LOL!
