Doula Activism & PoliticsThis forum is for activism efforts, networking and discussing political and social issues, such as circumcision, that impact doulas and their work.
how exciting! the new forum is right up my alley. woohoo!
I know! I am very excited about it...and nervous. 'politics' can be unpretty at times. But I'm sure we can all be adults and keep it clean and respectful
"If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals". ~J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I am excited as well.
When I first became a doula (2 yrs ago)I had no idea about the politics involved in childbirth. I never anticipated how FIRED UP I would get about such issues.
I hope this forum can start discussions, but also initiate action for positive change.
