Thumbs up D.C. & National Midwifery Week 10/7-10/13

In celebration of National Midwifery Week, October 7-13, 2007, Mayor Fenty has signed a proclamation honoring the work of midwives practicing in the District of Columbia!

Way to go D.C. ! Keep up the good work I'm sure there's much more to be done. Anyone in D.C. active in birth politics or attending forums on the matter? Anything to share?
