1. What is one thing you wish that an older doula had told you as a new doula?
2. What is one thing you wish new doulas knew?

1. What is one thing you wish that an older doula had told you as a new doula? Not to take it personally if I don't get hired. That the 1st year is hard work.
2. What is one thing you wish new doulas knew? Same as above. And for those certifying, know that it is not a race ... you don't get extra points by completely your certification in the minimum required time or births. Use your time in certification as a learning and development time. You will appreciate the hard work and the reality so will your future clients.
