So after the 39-hour birth that I attended that ended with a beautiful baby born just after midnight Friday morning, you'd think I'd be disappearing for some well-deserved sleep. Well nope. I had promised my boys I would take them to a concert, and so off we went. Right after the third band, and just before the main band that my boys really really wanted to see came on, my phone rang. My 6/25 client was in LABOR! So I got to the hospital at about midnight, and baby was born at about 10am. I've had some close deliveries, but this is a new record. Baby #1 born at 12:10am 6/15, Baby #2 born at 9:55am 6/16. That would be about 34 hours apart. Yeah, I'm pooped.

I soooo don't wanna hear that!!!! I can totally see myself having some miserable trip back to triage only to be sent home feeling like CRAP and totally sleep deprived, and then arriving home and having my phone ring just as I drift off with my 6/24 client in labor! You've got me sooooo scared! (I'm contracting now, so I'd better not have just Jinxed myself! )
Now, then....go for a couple weeks!
