Life gets in the way

Hi guys!

I haven't forgotten about this forum my life is La vida loca right now though. It probably a good thing that I don't have any clients until January. We are moving right on top of Thanksgiving and my "real" job is going through some software changes that will be affecting me as well. Everything is in a real whirlwind. Its lucky if you find me at home any more during the evening hours.

Anyone else suffering from crazy life syndrome?

Heather

Me! lol, super crazy here. Between DP's business, taking DD to classes 2 days a week, trying to fix up our PA house (which is a mess!), trying to complete some of my doula books for certification, plus I start school next week (Psych 101 and Anthro/Archaeology) AND starting 2 additional certifications in Nov. I think I'm gonna pass out, but if I don't stay super super busy I get bored.

I seem to thrive on all the action, yet I love to complain about it, lol.

Yeah, I thought September was bad - October has not been much calmer!

I am just coming down from a "whirlwind" summer and I feel like I am in a good place once again. We moved this summer and it is a house that needs work. We have done SO much already and we have only been there since August. My husband & I are ready to chill on the projects for now. We put in hardwood floors last weekend so at least we are no longer walking around on plywood!!
I have not attended a birth since July but I have been working with a postpartum client and I love it.
I will also be taking some training around breastfeeding (for a community volunteer program) next week. It is a 3 day training course.
My son started Senior Kindergarten in September so we are now in a good routine with that. My husband also started a new job. Lots of changes in the last few months. I knew we'd come thru the transition....
My husband & like to do many of life's stresses all at once!! Move, change jobs, start school, have babies, etc.....Hopefully smooth sailing for a while.
Interestingly, I have been getting contacted again by women looking for a doula. I hope to attend at least 6 births in the upcoming year. It's wonderful how life just seems flow!
Take care of yourselves!
