Thanksgiving getaway and clients

As I mentioned in the Coffee House a couple of weeks ago, we are going away for Thanksgiving and renting a house on the beach in North Wildwood, about 2 hours away. We are supposed to be leaving on Tuesday early evening (See countdown in my siggy)

I had two November moms, one due November 12 and one due November 13. Nov 12 delivered on Wednesday (yay!) Nov 13 is still pregnant. I know that the more time passes, the less and less likely it is that she'll go into labor and have her baby before Tues evening.

Now the hospital is about 90 minutes away from where we are going. Because it's just my immediate family going away, I am ok with going to the birth. But it means we'll have to take two cars. And all my birth stuff. And essentially be on call the whole time.

In my perfect world she"ll have her baby tonight or tomorrow night

oh well it is what it is

and the whole idea of getting away was to relax and take a break and spend time together: the whole idea of potentially having to go to a birth didnt seem so likely three weeks ago but now that its a definitely possibility i dont like it!!!

I bet SHE wants to have that babe and be home before Thanksgiving as well...or will want to wait until AFTER Maybe she can get it out or keep it in...who wants to be in the hospital on Thanksgiving??
