I wouldn't call it a busy doula schedule, LOL, but yes, I do have 2 kids at home.

3 little ones here. It sure makes it challengeing at times. A babysitters list is essential!

Georganne, I hear you on that single parent thing. I am sure it is for different reasons, but my dh is rarely around(because of work), so I am going it alone a lot and trying to figure out childcare constantly.

Not a very busy schedule, but I have two young (almost 3 & 5) daughters at home.

I clicked no.. my daughter is moved out, but my son is 17, and can manage on his own for days. At least until the fridge is empty.

I have 5 at home (we homeschool), ages 14, 13, 6, 3, and 2 and we are expecting #6 in June. I have a great support system-family members and friends who can babysit pretty much at the drop of a hat, and my husband is self employed..... I definately consider myself very lucky !

I currently have seven at home, but many of them aren't little and don't necessarily need me all the time, but they do need me occassionally

My grandma just got here from Cali a few days ago. She plans to stay here 9 months or so out of the year. The 3 other months I will take a Vacation or maybe only 1 or 2 clients a month not a full load... Oh and I have teens in the house who can watch the 2 little ones for me if I need it.. And don't forget dad he can too sometimes...

I don't have a busy doula schedule I only accept one client a month, normally, but we do have 4 children, 9,7,6, and 3 and homeschool.

Like Annie, a good sitter list is essential! Mine includes 2 homeschool seniors that can "skip" school if needed.

My husband lives in Oklahoma. He comes up for a few months in the summer to "play family."

Even if I did get busy it wouldn't be a problem for me. I have my mother-in-law, plus a great day care and friends I trust!
