Doula Training!

So this past weekend I became an officially trained doula! Yippee! I hope to be certified with DONA at the very least by the summer. My mom's fiance worked up my logo and it's FANTASTIC. He's a graphic designer so he's doing a whole business package for me.

I couldn't believe how awesome the training was. I was nervous at first but me and the other 7 ladies meshed so well and all had such different talents and energies to contribute to the training. But we all had that PASSION that we doulas know so very well. It was unbelievable. And on a personal note, I was happy to have finished that step of making my dreams come true!

Oh, and on the last day I fashioned little cards on pink paper with crayons promoting alldoulas.com as the best site for us gals with lots of resources and fantastic doula friends!

Dont worry Candice. You don't have to do a good job you just have to learn! And that comes naturally to those of us with this passion. We just can't get enough. Its going to be great and you are going to wonder why you were so nervous to begin with!!

I'm jealous!

My training isn't until May. I just signed up for last night. I'm so excited about it. Congrats Cathy, I love the enthusiasm.

I am sure that everyone will like you. I found my doula training to be one of the most exciting things I have ever done. It was the one place where I felt like I "fit" and felt so supported!!!
